Local secondary schools have already been involved in a creative writing/art competition and the two best pieces will be presented during the online event.  Rabbi Arnold Saunders will be the key speaker

During our service we will be honouring the memory of the millions who perished during the Holocaust and rededicating ourselves to fight against antisemitism wherever it festers by supporting the European Jewry as a whole during these challenging days

‘Be the Light in the Darkness’ -Greater Manchester HMD event, hosted by the Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham in collaboration with 10 districts of Greater Manchester.  Live streamed via Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. Speakers will include Holocaust survivor Tomi Komoly, Rwandan survivor Rehma Muguyeneza plus musical performances from Chazan Yossi Muller and choir and Chazan Michael Isdale. Please have a candle ready to light in memory of those murdered in the Holocaust and genocides that followed.
