World Autism Awareness Week - 30th March - 5th April

The World Health Organisation has denoted 30th March to 5th April as World Autism Awareness Week because Autism is a challenging complex condition which is understood by few.

Four local Jewish charities who support Jewish children with special educational needs have joined together to ask for our community’s help in publicising the difficulties faced by autistic Jewish children in Manchester.

Autistic Jewish children can’t learn like others so need special education and care support to enable their education, and to live more fulfilling lives of their own choosing.

We have important mitzvot to educate all our children, to look after Jews less fortunate than ourselves, and to include all Jews without exception within the Children of Israel.
