Last Sunday night we ran a special talk show that live streamed to the Ukraine - it was a huge privilege to be able to connect our community here in Manchester live to Jewish people sheltering in Ukraine, families who are fleeing from Kyiv. To have the ability to talk to them, to try and understand what they are going through was an extremely powerful experience.
We were grateful to our guests Nathan Feldman MRICS and Rabbi Yechiel Emmanuel and AB Wreschner as well as Gershon and Mordechai who were able to join us from their shelter in Ukraine. We were able to hear their experiences first hand and understand how we can get involved and help, even at this distance here.
It was truly heartbreaking to hear their stories and we all pray that they and their families will continue to survive this madness and stay out of harms way.
