SHRUBBS KOL NIDRE APPEAL 2023 - IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO DONATE
The news headlines tell the story of unprecedented costs rising which poses a challenge for us all - Our instincts may be to cut back or to stop non-essential spending, but Tzedaka must never be allowed to fall into this category. So many of our community’s front line charities, have seen funding cuts both locally and in Israel due to the additional strain on resources imposed by world events and rising costs. This year’s appeal will focus on local charities in the main who are providing services directly to our community. We will still be supporting charities in Israel such as the UJIA, who have suffered similar funding challenges.
This is an important mitzvah for us all at this time of year, the circumstances challenge us all and together we will get through this. We would like to take this opportunity of wishing you a good year.
