CST - Project Griffin

Following the tragic events in Manchester and London recently, CST is hosting several Project Griffin training sessions throughout the UK, open to any members of the Jewish community plus those that work or volunteer within it.

The first of these sessions is taking place in North Manchester Wednesday evening (14 June 2017) from 7.00pm till 10.00pm and we are delighted to announce that CST's National Head of Training will be delivering this session.

Project Griffin is the National Counter Terrorism awareness initiative produced by NaCTSO (National Counter Terrorism Security Office) and is open to administrators, receptionists, office staff, caretakers, site managers, lone workers, heads of departments, chairpersons, care home workers, shop workers, rabbis and many more including members of the public. It is not aimed at those who take part in security, but they are more than welcome to attend.

This Project Griffin session includes awareness of:
• The current threat
• Identifying and responding to suspicious behaviour
• Identifying and dealing with bombs (IEDs), suspicious items and bomb threats
• Responding to a firearms or weapons attack

On completion of the course, attendees will receive a certificate in conjunction with Project Griffin, NaCTSO and CST.

To book a place(s) on the course please reply to this email stating the name(s) and an email address for each person attending. Spaces are limited and will be issued on a first come first served basis.

We will be running more of these courses in the coming months and are finalising a date for a course to take place in the Leeds region, as well as other areas.

On receipt of your booking, you will receive a confirmation email stating all the details you require.

All training that CST provides is free and you may send as many people as you like.

In the meantime should you have any questions regarding this or any security matter, please do not hesitate to contact us.
